A TASTE OF ISRAEL

Ta’am Yisrael means “a taste of Israel” and that is what the 8th grade students that participate in this program receive. Ta’am Yisrael is an educational experience in Israel designed to give the participants a meaningful, intense, emotional and focused taste of the land and their heritage through a week long, “hands-on” experience in Israel.

During the week, students explore Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, archaeological digs, trek through the Negev desert and swim in the Dead Sea, visit historical sites and museums, make friends with Israelis, engage in social justice projects and much more!

OUTSIDE the BOX was honored to create a book for a special teen who recently participated in Ta’am Yisrael. Combining her photos and those of the chaperones, we were able to design a beautiful, colorful book of memories of a once-in-a-life-time opportunity. Not only did our client’s daughter experience Israel, but OUTSIDE the BOX was also able to get “a taste of Israel” by creating this book – an experience we will never forget.
